The Husk Outdoor Dining Chair can appear as either playful or formal depending upon the finishes and upholstery selected – all configurations are underscored by tremendous comfort. Husk Outdoor’s Hyrek plastic shell is available in white only; the interior cushion upholstery is composed of a special polyester fiber filling that conveniently allows moisture to pass through the cushions themselves. The cushion upholstery is available in several proprietary fade-resistant B&B Italia textiles. The Husk Outdoor dining chair features a slightly-canted rectilinear four-leg base aluminum support in a choice of white or black painted finish.
Husk is a perfect metaphor for Patricia Urquiola’s innovative range of seating. The molded shell on each configuration functions like an outer “husk” into which the cushions fit – the cushions feature tufting in wonderfully trapezoidal shapes that resemble the shape of kernels. The shell is supported by a simple painted aluminum fixed base.
